Ukrainians Planted Viburnum in Prague

Ukrainian women, who were forced to leave Ukraine due to the Russian military invasion and now live in the Prague 6 district, planted viburnum in Ladronka Park. 

The mayor of Prague 6 Ondřej Kolarž and the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Czech Republic Yevhen Perebyinis joined the process of planting. Students of the music school from the Brzhevny district took part in the event and skillfully performed the Ukrainian folk songs. Initiative Ukrainian women sang "Oh, red viburnum in the meadow", the Embassy of Ukraine in the Czech Republic informs. 

"May the Czech land will be so kind to this viburnum as it was to us", said one Ukrainian woman who has lived in Prague for the past few months.

"Ukraine definitely knows our frieds and allies, and will never forget Czech support," added Ambassador of Ukraine Yevhen Perebyinis. He also noted the invaluable assistance of the Czech Republic - military, financial, humanitarian.
