Ukrainian Communities Organized Demonstrations to Draw Attention to Atrocities Made by Russia in Olenivka

On July 30 and 31, 2022, Ukrainian communities took part in mass protests.  On July 29, dozens of Ukrainian prisoners of war were killed in an explosion at Olenivka, made by Russian troops.

The campaign was initiated by the public organization "Viryi". Activists called on the leaders of the countries to recognize Russia as a terrorist state and help to release Ukrainian POWs.

Rallies were held in Berlin, Krakow, Istanbul, Montreal, Frankfurt, Geneva, Warsaw, Batumi, Tbilisi, Cardiff, Amsterdam, Alicante, Riga, London, Sydney, Porto, Bratislava, Paphos, Brno, Milan, Rome, Hamburg, Zurich, Thessaloniki and on the island of Gran Canaria.
