He is a leading advocate for location-based marketing and media and a contributing editor at industry blogs Search Engine Land and Marketing Land. For more than 15 years, he has written about and researched the connections between digital media and real-world consumer behavior.Previously, Sterling was as a senior analyst for Opus Research and The Kelsey Group (now BIA/Kelsey).
