Jon is a passionate and influential leader in the media industry. After early years in consumer research and TV advertising. he gained experience and expertise crafted in various leadership roles within 3 global media agencies from 1995-2011: UK Planning Director at Universal McCann, Global Account Director at Carat International and CEO, WW Clients at ZenithOptimedia.From 2011, he switched focus towards creating, developing and advising a series of innovative media services, ad:tech and ecommerce businesses. He also still remains a highly active player within the European Media Industry – primarily on behalf of EACA (European Association of Communications Agencies) as Executive Board Director and Chair of the Media Agencies Council (MAC).This includes working closely with all 6 major, global Media Agency Holding Groups as well as developing partnerships with other leading international and national trade bodies (e.g. WFA, IAB Europe, IPA, AACC, 4As, Assocom, BVDW, EDAA, EPC etc).Jon regularly leads or contributes towards important industry initiatives, e.g. Viewability, Media Auditing, OBA, data protection, ePrivacy, cross-platform audience measurement, brand safety, ad fraud etc...
